Kiyotaka Fujii

Fujii is the former chairman of REALM IDx, an AI-enabled precision medicine company specializing in genomics, imaging, and pathology diagnostics for cancer and Alzheimer's disease. From 2016 to 2023, he served as president of Global Healthcare at Konica Minolta. With a career spanning information technology, life sciences, consumer products, and investment banking, Fujii has held Japan CEO positions at leading global companies since 1997, including SAP, Louis Vuitton, Cadence Design Systems, and Quintiles Transnational. From 2012 to 2015, he was Olympus' first independent board member, where he played a key role in rebuilding the company's governance and business operations. Earlier in his career, from 1985 to 1993, Fujii broke new ground as the first Japanese M&A investment banker in New York, working with Credit Suisse First Boston and Goldman Sachs. He began his professional journey at McKinsey & Company as the first hire from the University of Tokyo. Fujii earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1986 and a B.A. in Law from the University of Tokyo in 1981.
